Handcuffs's Dream (part 1)

My POV
    My name is Cassie. I am the head of a boot camp for children who have been separated from their families or just plane old ditched. I started this boot camp to teach them how to fight, how to survive. A few years back, a while before Niall and I got together, something happened in America. These creatures, that looked like cloaked skeletons, started attacking families for no apparent reason. We call them dementors because that's what they remind us of. They always attack the parents first then go back later for the children.

    We sat by the front entrance fence, Niall and I on the right side and Louis and his girlfriend on the left. I was dressed in all camo, army shirt, army cargo pants, and brown combat boots. I lifted my head from Niall's shoulder to look up at him.

"Anything?" I asked
   
     He shook his head then looked over at Louis. "Any news?"

"Nope," he responded calmly.

    Niall gave me one of his beautiful smiles, "Don't worry, they'll be here soon and then we can head out and make sure everything is alright."

    I couldn't help but to smile back. A few minutes later my two best friends, Kendall and Brianna, came striding through the entrance gate. They gave us the all-clear then Niall and I set out.

Luna's POV
    Manic and I stood side by side waiting for our orders. A few Mobians had just been sent to check under water. These dementor things seemed to like to hide in dark and wet places. They needed one more person to go with the group.

"I'll go," Manic said turning to me with a worried look on his face.

    I put my hand on his shoulder and gave the handsome green hedgehog a reassuring smile. "No I'll go," I brushed the back of my fingers across his cheek, " besides, I can hold my breath longer."

    He gave me a small smile, "yeah I guess that's true..." I could tell by the hesitation in his voice that he was still worried.

"Don't worry, Manic, I'll be fine," and with that I went and joined the others in the water. We checked every nook and cranny. We left no stone unturned. Once we had check then double checked every inch of the area, we met up and gave each other the all-clear, then headed back to the surface. Manic let out a sigh of relief then gave me a big smile, happy to know that I was alright.
